How did the idea for a dress challenge begin?

Soon after we launched wool&, we sent our Rowena Swing Dress to 50 people as part of a 100 day challenge. The results were impressive, and we received many inquiries on how others could join in on the challenge.

Our 100 day challenge confirmed what the wool industry and outdoor enthusiasts alike had been claiming: wool is a performance fabric with remarkable odor-resistant properties. If you’re not already familiar, here are just a few reasons why you’ll love wool. 

We now invite you to do a 30 or 100 day challenge, or at least attempt one. We’re convinced you could benefit from simplifying your morning routine, making “what to wear” the easiest question of your day.

Why would I wear the same dress every day?

• Spend less time and money doing laundry (hooray!).
• Learn how to get more wears out of a garment (e.g. when you spill on your dress, you’ll immediately take action to clean it since you're wearing it again tomorrow!).
• Realize that your clothing isn’t what defines you (have you heard of the spotlight effect? It’s a phenomenon in which people tend to believe they are being noticed more than they really are.)
• Understand what you actually need, and reduce your impact on the planet when you realize you don’t need a closet packed full of clothing.
• Simplify your life and focus on what matters.
• If you complete the challenge, we’ll gift you $30 or $100 off your next purchase!

How do the 30 day and 100 day challenges differ?

• You may complete the 100 day challenge one time total. You may complete the 30 day challenge once per calendar year.
• Items for the 30 day challenge must be purchased in the same calendar year that your challenge begins. However, your December purchase will be eligible for the new 30 day challenge cycle beginning January 1.
• If you are embarking on a new challenge, please note that your previous challenge dress is not eligible. Items purchased with a 100 day challenge reward are also not eligible for a new challenge.
• You’ll receive a $30 gift card for completing the 30 day challenge. You’ll receive a $100 gift card for completing the 100 day challenge. 
• You are welcome to convert your 30 day challenge to 100 days to earn the $100 store credit, but you will receive only one reward (maximum of $100 credit.)

How do I share my photos?

You may use your preferred file sharing platform (Google Drive/Photos, Dropbox, etc) or your social media account (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, etc). Once you’ve completed your challenge, you may use our Challenge Submission Form to send your photos to us. Our team will then verify your challenge and issue your reward

I forgot to take a photo during my challenge. Will you still accept my submission?

We understand that remembering to take a photo every day is challenging. For the 100 day challenge, we will accept a completed challenge entry missing up to 5 photos. If you have one daily photo for at least 95 days of your 100 day challenge, you qualify for a $100 gift card. For the 30 day challenge, we will allow two “missed” photos within your 30 day challenge. Simply add on up to two days at the end of your challenge, then submit your 30 photos to us.

I purchased the dress with a discount code, challenge reward code, or from a secondary seller (like eBay or a buy/sell/trade page), am I eligible for the 30 or 100 day challenge? 

We accept challenges with dresses purchased directly from our website only. Purchases with discount codes, 100 day reward codes, or mystery sale items are not eligible for our challenges. Warehouse cleanout items are eligible. We will verify your order when we review your photos, prior to issuing a reward credit.

What are some tips for caring for my dress throughout the challenge?

• Hang your dress in a well ventilated area when not in use.
• If you notice any area starts to smell, wet with warm water and hang to dry overnight.
• Treat your dress with kindness! We love to see all of the inventive ways that you style your dress. Our dresses are pretty durable as far as dresses go—however, they can’t withstand extreme stress or excessive friction. Please be mindful of this throughout your challenge to prevent damage.

Can I alternate between two or more wool& dresses during this challenge?

We love that you love our dresses, but this challenge is for one dress for the duration of the challenge.

What are my next steps when I finish the challenge?

When you finish the challenge, please double check that you have at least 30 or 95 daily photos. Then, submit your photos using our Challenge Submission Form. Once we verify your photos, we’ll send you a survey and your credit. If you ordered your dress with a different email address than the one you are emailing us from, it speeds up verification if you can also include the original order number for your purchase in your email to us.

When will I receive my gift card?

Please allow up to one business day for us to verify your challenge and send your $30/$100 credit.

What else should I know?

• There is currently no deadline for the challenge. If we pause the challenge and stop accepting new participants, we will update this page.
• We don’t accept affiliate partnerships that promote the 30 or 100 day challenge.
• Join our Facebook group here to connect with other challenge members. Note that you may share your photos in our FB group, but photos in the group will not count as an official submission.
