I’ve gotten two pairs of these, and while I like the fit and feel of them, after a few months of wearing both (sporadically, like a couple of times a week during cold months) they got holes in them that quickly became huge tears. They also got very thin quickly where thighs touch, which I guess is to be expected in that spot but I’ve had less expensive leggings last longer there. (To clarify, the parts that got actual holes were NOT there, they were lower leg and outer thigh, not places with a lot of friction.) They’re both past the return period so there’s not much I can do about it but I would expect more from a $100+ pair of leggings, especially from a company promoting sustainable clothing.
"Stays odor free for days" - they were not kidding. I just bought these, and have worn them 4 of the last 5 days. Day 1 - wore them for an hour long exercise class, let them air out after. Day 2 - church, wasn't cold, didn't wear them. Day 3 - totally ready to go, wore them all day under my 100 Day Challenge dress (Audrey) to school. Kept me perfectly warm despite the outside temp of mid-30s (and the inside temp of 66*F when I got to school...). Still perfect. Day 4 - wore them all day under my dress, and wore them to fencing. That's 30 mins of warm up/strength/conditioning class, then *an hour & a half* of actual fencing, with all the fencing gear over top. (I wore my Halsey tunic as my shirt - it performed just as well). When I was done....no sweat on my leggings, except a small area at the back of the waistband. Wha...?? Unheard of. Hung them up when I got home, and today, Day 5 - wore them again all day under my challenge dress, to school. No odor. Will wear again for tomorrow's fencing, and then ever after for all my working out, ever. And still as "real clothes" in between. Because they are just amazing. Comfy, soft, perfect fit, perfect length, perfectly perfect.
I am blown away by these.
I absolutely adore these leggings. The waistband is wide and high enough to keep the leggings up without slipping, rolling, or not staying up, with or without being active. I am 5'10" and they are the perfect length. I currently have these in 3 colors and they are a staple in my daily outfits. They look great under dresses or coupled with a Stella tee. Dress them up, dress them down, they are perfect. In regards to thermoregulation, they have kept me comfortable in a central Pennsylvania winter yet not overheating when hiking.
I was surprised that size Small fit. They are a little tight getting them over my hips.
They're nicer than most leggings out there. However they're no where near as warm as I had hoped.
This is the first review I’ve written in a long time. But I had to share how much I love these leggings! I purchased a Large which is one size down from where I fit on the size chart. They fit perfectly! At 5’11 inches they are a touch too short but with black wool socks it makes zero difference on me. I honestly have not have more comfortable leggings ever! I do have Stella leggings from WoolX that are long that I also love but the Axis leggings are just that bit more comfortable. They’re smooth, cozy and I’ve been wearing them for 7 days straight with no bagging or stretching. I will buy more for sure!
