I love the feel and weight of the fabric. Dress wears well and is perfect for fall and winter.
Evelyn is the dress I got with my $100 credit from the 100 day challenge, and I'm so happy with it! The fabric is soft and comfortable, and I love the Marionberry color. The dress is fitted but doesn't cling, I just love the French terry fabric.
Wish the sleeves were full length, but I'm looking forward to cooler weather so I can wear this dress more.
We traveled to the UK in the autumn for nearly 3 weeks with only a carry-on. I bought two Wool& dresses to base my wardrobe on. This dress checks all the boxes…….I wore with tights and Chelsea boots and felt I could go anywhere and look great.
I often have trouble finding clothing to fit, as I’m very petite and 64 years old.
Fabric is just the right weight and sleeves are perfect. Love the pockets!
The weight of the fabric is lovely for fall/winter and the seaming is just gorgeous. Length is perfect for me. I ordered both L and XL, and while the L fit at the shoulders, it was a bit much across my bootie. XL hangs like a sack--see all the extra fabric in the back--but I love the pockets so much that I'm getting it altered. (No small feat, with all the seaming, but it's such a great dress!) Also, photos do not do justice to the beautiful color.
I returned a Willow and am so much happier with the Evelyn on my body. I wear a L in Sierra and ordered the Evelyn in XL. Perfectly fitted on top and roomy enough to wear over tights and leggings, which is primarily how I will wear it this fall/winter as it's a bit short on my tall frame. Since I also have long arms, the 3/4 work better for me as they are intentionally short :) The pockets sit a little high, again the tall thing, but don't look strange. I like the way the lofty French Terry drapes vs the Willow. The marine blue is also a great color, a bluer shade of teal I would say. Will go with many neutral shades of wraps and leggings, and looks great with a turquoise blue striped scarf I had on hand.
