Fabulous for traveling. It holds up so well and stays fresh.
Very comfortable, fit great! Love the sleeves with thumbholes.
I bought this because I'm doing a 100 day wear in my Marine Blue Summer Midi. I started one in May, then got derailed by a trip I went on, so I had to start again this October. I knew I'd want something to give the dress the look of long sleeves, or to wear as another layer under scratchy wool sweaters, etc. Well, I really like it. The thumbholes work just fine for me and hit in just the right spot when my arms are at my side. I have long arms so the length is great. The medium fits loosely; I am somewhere between a medium and a large so I'd say size down in this style if you're wondering which size to buy. I like the raglan sleeves. I am not in love with the hemline but it works ok. I'm using it exactly as I intended and it is a great basic. Not sure I'd wear it alone; I have other t-shirts that are a good deal more flattering on me, but I would wear it with a scarf or a cardigan over it. All in all it's a solid 4 but doesn't have that WOW factor that some of my other wool& things have.
This shirt is comfortable and loose.
I love the iron gray color and the idea of this shirt. I'll keep mine but I wish the design was better. First, this top is designed as a mid layer with the tunic style, wide neck, long sleeves, and thumbholes, but it's made out of base layer summer weight fabric. It would get much more use in the French Terry or Interlock fabrics with weights more suited to cool weather. Also, the Signature fabric gets thinner with every item I order. They can't blame it on the stripes in this case, and washing does NOT "fluff" it out. Second, as many have noted, the thumb holes are on the underarm seam, requiring the sleeve to be twisted to actually put your thumb in the hole. This is a sewing shortcut that no doubt reduces production costs, but also probably irritates a lot of wearers. Just cut a separate cuff and turn it 90 degrees.
