Inexplicably unflattering

From the description I thought this would flatter my pear-shape but it just didn't. Nothing was particularly wrong with it; it just didn't do anything for my shape...at all. A small was too tight in the bodice (I wear a small in Rowena and Willow to make the top fit) and a medium was just blah on me, despite the fabulous purple fig color. So disappointed in my miscalculation, but on to the next dress. I found Flora (M) to be a better fit, but still enough to be worth keeping.

Thanks for this honest review, Maile! We're so sorry to hear that the Isabelle isn't the style for you, but appreciate you sticking with us. We're always here for any style or fit recommendations if you need them - just send us a message at help@wooland.com!

Strange Bust Dart in plus sizes

I really wanted to love this dress and at first ordered the 2x as I have in other dresses from wool&. The darts made it fit really strange and it looked like I had little wings on the side of my bust. It was a little roomy in general so I exchanged it for a 1x. The 1x had the same issue - just not as drastic. Because the dress fit well otherwise, I took it to tailor and got the darts fixed. I realize I am not the typical frame- in that I am size 18 in most things and only a 40B. If you are a C or bigger the plus size will probably be fine.

Thanks for this honest review! We're sorry to hear that the Isabelle's design features didn't work for you, but glad to hear that the tailor got you sorted out. We appreciate you sticking with us, and are always here for any style recommendations over at help@wooland.com.

Love it!

I love the material and the cut/style. It is lightweight, but sturdy. The purple fig goes well with everything in my closet and I’ve been having a great time accessorizing. It looks great on its own or with a simple belt too.
I am only 5’ so it is longer on me than the model. I like it as is, but may get it hemmed ~2 inches.
The top is very flattering. It does loosen up after a few wears and will need a stitch to keep it closed for modesty.

Gorgeous color!

First of all this color is everything I could imagine it being. Really is like a sunset color. I ordered the beetroot Isabelle first in XS which fit great but hit my waist a little higher than I prefer and was slightly snug in the sides so I returned and ordered up to a small which is also for great but a bit loose in the bust ( I will mention that my boobs are vanishingly small so this is always a problem). It was very hard to decide which fit better but overall I went the small for comfort level.

Graceful and Versatile in Beetroot

Beetroot is one of the most amazing colors and goes with so many different looks! I did a 30 day challenge in this 1x Beetroot Isabelle and loved the versatility. The length is below my knees and the crossover style on top gives a graceful flow. I also wore it reversed and it looked really cute with the higher neck. After several days of wear, the crossover part gapped a bit, but on those days, I wore a tank or other shirt underneath. After washing, the fabric tightened a bit and didn't gap as much. This dress also worked as a top, folded up and secured with a belt or tucked into pants. I love this dress and am now eyeing the Isabelle in Pacific!
