London is a very lovely dress! It skims the body nicely but isn't tight fitting. I have broad shoulders and find the top/sleeves to be pretty fitted. Not uncomfortable but definitely could not size down in London or Chloe because of the arms/shoulders. The dress works great for work environments. Also very comfortable for non-work environments. Plum is a beautiful color. Looking forward to other colors in this dress!
This is the most comfortable dress! I’d love a long sleeved midi!
I was surprised when I tried London to discover how great the fit was for me. I'm short, a bit bulgy, super booby, and age 59, but when I put it on and felt like a super model. It is longer on me than the model, of course, but because it is a slim cut with shorter sleeves, the lines of the dress do not overwhelm like some other longer styles at wool&. It's an incredibly flattering dress for curves also, skimming rather than hugging. The fabric is the same as other dresses (jersey) but still warm with leggings. I wear with a sweater and boots for casual and alone for a more elegant look. I bought the plum, which is a very neutral color so goes with many other things I own. I work at home but wear it even when no one sees me and feel great all day. It's also easy to hike up and wear as a shorter dress under a sweater. I must confess I've slept in it because I didn't want to take it off. Looking forward to more colors.
Gorgeous, true to size, fits great!
I did my 30 days in the black London and liked it so well that I bought the plum too. It was easy to style the London up or down; I have a people-facing job, so on work days, I often put on either the Lou moto jacket, a regular blazer or, for a hipper day, a black men's blazer with a matching black hoodie underneath. It looked really good with a pullover sweater too. Sometimes I wore it over the culottes or tucked it in to a pair of Woolly weekender pants on the (surprise!) weekends. The London saw me through the month of October in the Pacific Northwest and the beginning of our chilly, rainy season; I went from barelegged with sandals to (don't tell anyone) knee socks to wool tights. I know some folks don't like the Axis leggings with midi dresses--I'm also a bit touchy about the look of my tights--but in my opinion, the London is made to be worn with any kind of tights. I thought it looked really good at the end of October when I was wearing Axis or Snag wool footless leggings and socks; another good look was footed Snag tights with wool socks and a boot. The London feels good on and keeps your legs warm without screaming, "I'm wearing a long dress!" I'd say I like it more than the Chloe as it seems better-proportioned, at least for my frame, and drapes better. Though Chloe is very nice too.
