My only issue is that it is a bit large- I’ve ordered the next size down to see which fits better, and will return the other one.
Perfect fit, soft, lightweight.
This is my quarantine uniform. It is comfortable, the modest neckline works for video conferences, and I can wear multiple days in a row. Looks great with mules, I am tall and this dress in regular length shows some leg, but I like it because the design is otherwise quite conservative and it gives it a little kick. I look forward to someday wearing it in public.
Thanks for the review, Sara. Take care!
I have a Rowena in the longer length and stretch fabric. I ordered this one because I liked it so much. This updated version is very nice but the fabric doesn’t feel as substantial and doesn’t glide over my curves as well. The upper sleeve is also tighter. If the dress is tweaked again, you should consider relaxing the sleeve a little. Looking forward to a short sleeve version.
I’d read a lot about the Rowena, but was still skeptical about how I’d end up feeling about it. Swing dresses aren’t really my style these days, dresses with pockets don’t usually flatter, I don’t typically go for long-sleeves... Well, somehow, none of those things apply here.
This dress is perfect.
It’s hard to imagine it wouldn’t look great on anyone. The fabric is so soft & drapey, & the pockets are invisible but functional! The length is perfect on me - hits right above my knees. I could see myself wearing this any season. It’ll pair well with any shoe style, with or without tights, & is thin enough for layering.
Also, I have to call out the shipping materials - simple, recyclable, no waste.
I’m so glad I found Wool&. I have the Brooklyn, which is also beautiful. I’ve got my eye on the Clara next... :)
