Love this dress

This is my second Sophia Midi - I sized down for this dress from my normal XL and it fits perfectly. I can wear it alone or as a jumper with a blouse underneath. The color is rich and gorgeous.

Ordered L because M was not available. It’s a lovely dress but was returned - just too long in the body and proportioned for a taller person .

Lovely dress!

This dress is very comfy and fits me very well. I’m working from home and it’s so easy to jut pop it on and then go about my day. The pockets are medium sized. They just fit my phone, but could be a little bit bigger. So far it’s been warm in cold weather but cool in hot weather. I got the orchid but I really wish the blue would come back since it’s so pretty!

Beautiful, does pill

The L is a little big but I figured better loose than tight. I did have considerable pilling after three wears, which is disappointing as I love the dress, color, and fit

Comfortable

The dress is super comfortable but definitely more flattering on smaller folx than myself.

Perfect!

So I’m only 3 weeks into wearing the Sophia dress. But here are my thoughts so far. I love it! I’m not bored with it. And I think I’ve only repeated an outfit twice. It has plenty of space in the arms and neck for layering. I love it as a jumper. I was kind of nervous purchasing because I have a 4 month old that I’m currently nursing. I wasn’t sure if I’d be able to nurse in it. But the collar pulls down wonderfully and doesn’t get stretched out when I pull it down every two hours to nurse him. If you’re smaller busted like me you could also pull the arm side over to be able to nurse. I also have four other children so anything that’s been able to hold up to me wearing it with lots of excitement happening everyday is pretty impressive.
Color is spot on and the material is perfect. Please, please make this style in more colors. I love it!

Too thin to wear out of the house

While the material was very soft and silky (surprisingly so!), it was so thin and clingy that it showed every underwear line and wrinkle. When the dress fabric was pulled out from my body, it was also somewhat transparent. That made it a dress that I wouldn't feel comfortable wearing in public, let alone for 100 days when I would need to wear it to work in an academic setting.
Even if the fabric had been better, this dress wasn't flattering on me. That was surprising because other dresses with this shape are, but this one just felt frumpy/slouchy.

Sofia

The fabric is really soft and drapes nicely, but I’m thinking this dress was not really styled for a curvy figure. To fit my hips without it being too clingy, I definitely needed to get the XL but in this size, the arm holes are way too deep for wearing without layering. Because of that, its more like a jumper. There’s plenty of vertical stretch to it, so it can even be worn as a drop waist jumper, if you like. This also lowers the neckline. I really do like the midi length, as kneehigh socks and boots look great with it, if you’d not feeling like wearing leggings. The sleeveless part, especially with the deep cut arm holes, makes layering really fun and easy. So there’s the upside to the deep cut armholes. My next dress (on order for April delivery) is the Willow. I’m thinking the swing silhouette will probably suit me better, but all told, the .Sofia is super comfortable and easy to accent with layers.

A winner

I have this dress in both colors and they are my at-home pandemic staples, along with my two Brooklyns. I prefer a fitted waist and short or no sleeves, so this style is perfect for me. I think it runs a little large depending on fit preference. I have a curvy figure & very short torso and the XL fits just fine.

First impression: Lovely color, silky feel

I got a Sofia Midi (L) in orchid. I really like it. It's a little long for me, and my cat snagged it the first day I wore it (though I was able to reshape the snag about 99% successfully). It's quite stretchy. If I liked a snugger fit, the M probably would also fit me, but I wanted something cozy and lazy in order to attempt the 100 day challenge as comfortable as possible. The color is a bit muted, which is what I personally was hoping for -- I didn't want anything that felt "pastel" or "bright" in color, since anything too bright or light in color wouldn't work well with my current wardrobe pieces. In a color theory way, I'd call the color ever so slightly more toward the red spectrum of violet/purple than I anticipated.
