Wanted to give wool & a try and found this dress on sale, it's the kind of dress that doesn't look that stylish coming out of the package but when I put it on the fit was great, the look was stylish and the feel of the fabric is like heaven. I highly recommend wool &
This dress is beautiful! I wish the garnet color was a little more saturated, but it’s still gorgeous. I love it styled each way. V-neck, scoop, with belt, without. I love the midi length also. It might be the first dress I buy in more than one color.
This is by far my favorite wool& dress; it is so versatile and can go from causal to dressy very easily. I live in it on vacation to warm places. My only issue is the color choices; so many of the other dresses have multiple colors available and a wide range of choices, so I don’t understand why this amazing dress is restricted to three (somewhat formal and not fun) colors. Please offer this in more colors in the future (pacific or Aegean teal would be amazing!)
Reviews were so helpful to me in choosing my first dress, so let me return the favor! I was totally new to the world of wool when I bought this dress, but was intrigued enough by the 100 day challenge to give it a try. As the owner of a toddler and a newborn, suffice to say...I usually smell by the end of the day. Pee. Poo. Puke. Spit up. Breast milk. Cow's milk. And more! So the idea of a fabric that didn't "hold" smells was exciting, but seemed too good to be true. After wearing Summer for a week and only spot cleaning as needed...WOW. I now understand why people spend this much on a dress. Truly amazing. I'm in a dry climate, so spot cleans dried very quickly (never even took the dress off). And after a WEEK of all that mess...no odor?!?! Seriously, this should be on every mom's baby registry because it's a flipping miracle. And on top of that, it's SO comfortable. I have slept in this dress and I don't want to sleep in anything else.
The fit is amazing. I'm pear shaped, 32DD (US bra size), and have a few extra pounds to lose from the previously mentioned newborn. I chose Summer in hopes that it would accommodate a bit of weight loss, and feel confident in the decision.
I did have to talk to customer service because after a few days of wear, my dress started developing holes in one pocket (where I was keeping my phone). Unfortunately at 5'3", it seems that the pockets fall just right to get banged around on counters and appliances while I'm cleaning, and if I have anything at all in my pockets it eats right through the fabric which is pretty thin. Customer service was 10/10, offered me a repair or replacement at no cost. While I'm disappointed that I don't think there is a way to make these pockets functional for me, I can't fault the company. Just the bad luck of pocket placement on my frame. I am so thankful that they are taking care of the issue, and will absolutely be purchasing more dresses in the future. In fact, I have already ordered a second. If I had the money I'd happily discard all my clothes and replace with a few wool& pieces...due to budget constraints, I will be working towards that goal over the next year or so.
All in all, I am so glad I found this company and would highly recommend them to anyone! Even if you're not currently doing the challenge, it's a fabulous place to ask questions and get feedback from other wool enthusiasts, and learn more about the company and products.
