I really like this hoodie! It is generously sized with extra-long sleeves (with thumbholes! yay!) so I sized down to a small (normally Med) and it's perfect. The curved hem and side slits are so flattering and really elongate your figure! The lightweight fabric will be perfect for spring and summer. I got both colors. I would really love a top like this without the hood as well! And a short sleeve and tank top version haha!
I have been wanting a minimal-weight hoodie to replace a lot of synthetic hoodies I wear for hiking, and this fully fits the bill. As someone on the cusp of XXL/1X sizing (I wear XXL in Cara and 1X in Morgan, XL in Sierra and 1X in Willow), I took a risk and ordered the XXL. It fits me great everywhere ... Except the sleeves. They are so long the thumbholes (one of my deciding features) are pretty much useless, because they hang well past my thumbs. If I try to use them, the fabric bunches up around my wrists and doesn't lay as well.
I currently wear L and XL in my other wool& clothing. I bought this in XL and it’s perfect. It’s a great weight on its own for warmer weather and with a tee or tank under for a bit more warmth. My picture has the marrionberry Jade tunic underneath. The rounded hem is a nice look. I love the feel and drape of the Tencel/wool blend. The sleeves are too long on my short arms, but that is normal for me-the cuffs roll nicely and stay put. I love the heathered pacific color. This is going to be a great top for the summer, but also year round as a layering option. .
I just received my Trek hoodie and I LOVE it! I ordered the Pacific Heather--such a beautiful color. I adore the thumbholes. I also have a Halsey in Beetroot, which is a more open neck cut. Because the Trek has a hood, it is closer around my neck (much more like a crew neck) and that works perfectly for me. I also like the kangaroo pocket. It looks great with Axis leggings or a jean skirt, or over another Wool& dress (like my Black Amalya).
I wear Medium in Cora, Camellia, Sasha, Penny and Halsey, but large in Ro (ugh, thick upper arms) and Willow.
Looking forward to some spring/summer hiking and bringing this along.
