This is more like a hooded dress on me which I really like. I got the oatmeal color and really like it. Anxious for aurora blue to be released. It is a great piece for travel on long overseas plane flights which is where this Everett will be worn.
The new Beetroot Everett is my fourth of these tunic tops, which indicates how much I love them. I'm pretty much a rectangle, with no waist and a few more rolls around my middle than I used to have, so I always look for tunics. Ordered the first one for casual wear with leggings and for travel because of the hood (planes are cold!). But I found myself wearing it for church, dinners out with friends, shopping - just about anywhere, anytime except mid-summer in Alabama. In very cold weather I add a knitted cowl or dickie at the neck because that's where I get cold, but otherwise my Everetts and I are pretty much plain-Jane. So glad I found this style and now all my other Wool& items!
My regular w& size is S or M (depending) but ordered this in a large as wanted a generous fit instead of form skimming. Large was perfect for this! This is long & that takes a bit of getting used to as a shortie but super cosy and a great color 🙂. The kangaroo pocket is huge and hits me at the perfect spot. Sleeve length is also perfect.
This is beautiful and feels wonderful. I am looking for cooler fall weather to wear it and can't wait until I can. I expect to be a staple part of my wardrobe throughout the fall, winter, and early spring months.
I just bought my third Everett. I will probably sell my first which is a little more form fitting than I wanted (kept thinking I'd lose weight :)). Once I got the size right, the Everett is the perfect Fall, Winter, Spring outfit. I live an active, casual lifestyle so a hoodie and leggings or jeans are what I wear almost daily, but I like to have something covering my rear when wearing leggings. The Everett is the perfect weight and style for running errands, walking my dogs, hiking, working from home. I like my hoodie tunics to be roomy, so I sized up. It's a personal preference. My measurements put me in a large and I wear mediums and even a small in some of the dresses, but I felt like the large clung to my hips and belly more than I liked, so XL is perfect.
