Comfortable, but could use longer straps.

36 DD here and the large fit with very little overflow, definitely little enough it was fine. In the Brawyn busty wool bra I bought a medium if that reference helps anyone. Also, even being very active you don’t fall out of the cups which is wonderful. The shape under clothes is so much better than the uniboob style, and it might have felt a little cooler on really hot days. I have a hot outside job and I could wear it multiple days with no smell. I can’t predict how long it will hold up, I’m hoping for a while at its cost. The one negative is the straps, for me, are too short to wear it comfortably crossed which is how I prefer to wear bras. For the price I think it should have more adjustable straps.

Love it! I’m a medium and I ordered a medium. Very comfortable- definitely ordering another.

Good for moisture control and separation but not enough support for a larger bust

I tried a Wool& Roam convertible wrap bra for the first time out and about for a couple hours yesterday. I went to a matinee performance at a community theater, so the dress code was pretty casual and the activity level was zero-impact. I wore it under a form-fitting 100% cotton tank top, which I wore under a flowy blouse. Overall, I’d say the bra is so-so, especially given the $70 price point.

I’m busty (36F, 42-35-44, 170 lbs, 5’7”). My perennial problem with bras that are sized S, M, L, etc., is that in order to get enough room in the cup, the band is always too big, and that was no less an issue with the Roam convertible wrap bra. I ordered an XL. The cups fit. I could even fit some light padding for modesty and comfort between the bra and my skin. But the band was looser than I’d prefer, resulting in less support and mild friction from movement.

The other problem I have in general is that moisture and friction sometimes lead to a painful skin condition called intertrigo. On this front, the Roam did great for the couple hours that I wore it. I did not get sweaty around the band, even though I had to hustle a couple blocks from the parking lot in heat and humidity. The criss-cross cups kept my breasts separate, so I didn’t get sweaty between breasts and didn’t have any skin-to-skin contact between breasts. The material was comfortable—mildly scratchy, but I think I‘ll get used to that with more time.

My main complaint is not enough lift/support. I felt a little too jiggly, especially during my parking lot hustle, which I think would become uncomfortable after a full day of wear, especially with any higher impact activities. Also, with so much bust, I prefer the shaping of a more supportive bra, but this was OK with the little extra support from the tank top and hidden under the flowy blouse.

I’m wearing it again today while doing small errands. I’m noticing that the band is starting to fold on the sides and in the front, which is slightly uncomfortable and would show through a tighter-fitting top than I’m currently wearing.

I’d be interested in trying the Roam convertible bra in an L, but the $70 price point is a deterrent for something that would be an experiment.

For the price point, it would be nice if the bra could accommodate a light pad to be inserted between the layers for modesty and to reduce sensitivity.

Overall, given my bust, I think the Roam convertible wrap bra will be fine for a sleep/lounge bra, might be OK for non-impact activities out of the house with loose-fitting clothing, but wouldn’t work for any activity with impact or more form-fitting clothing. I need a more multi-purpose garment for daily wear.

Thanks for the detailed and honest review of your Roam Convertible Wrap Bra! While we're bummed to hear that you had some issues with the bra, we're glad to hear that you'll get use out of it as a sleeping and lounging item.

Love the Roam

So comfortable! Wore it everyday of a five day camping trip. I like that I don’t have a “unaboob” when I wear this. If I’m dressing up I’ll still wear my underwire bra but I’m wearing the roam most days.

Great Except for Color Bleeding

I love the fit and feel of this bra. At 8 months pregnant, I ordered both a L and XL. Both fit, although I prefer the XL for inserting absorbent pads. After a month os use I have washed them once. No smells after airing out, even though I live in the Texas heat and sweat daily! I can't give 5 stars, however, because the coral red color stained one of my dresses after I spent a morning outside sweating. I wish I had been forewarned to wash before use or not order that color if I was concerned about any color bleeding!
The mocha brown has given me no trouble.

Thanks so much for the honest review, Olivia! We're thrilled to hear that you're loving the Roam Bra overall, but sorry to see that you experienced some dye bleed. Someone from our helpdesk will be reaching out soon so that we can make this right!
