Wasn't sure I would like the Winona - I am not much for cropped items. But the length is perfect for providing a little extra warmth/dressiness to my Wool& dresses without looking at all frumpy. Just ordered another in gray!

I wasn't 100% sure about the Winona when I ordered it. I am fairly tall (5'9"), so I thought it might not be flattering.
What a surprise! It gives me the illusion of a waist, even with my Rowena. Makes it a bit more dressy. The sleeves are actually long enough (which I realize may be a problem for people with shorter arms). Even better, it is incredibly comfortable! Wore it to work in my chilly office over my Margo - I was cozy but not overheated all day long.
Best of all, it passed muster with my normally critical 25 year old daughter, who declared, "I love everything about your outfit!"

I wear this comfortable cardigan over my sleeveless Sierra dresses to make them look a bit more polished. Great fabric.

I too was late to purchase this cropped piece. I was convinced that I would not like the fact that it is cropped. But, eventually, I was swayed by the reviews- like a wool blazer, warm, soft. And all that is true! It is a great travel piece. Winona does not wrinkle in my luggage and takes the chill off over air conditioned conference rooms. It adds flare to anything I pair it with and I choose to wear it much more than I anticipated. Please continue to use this fabric in this style and others!

I'm not an early adopter - I have a long torso so I wait to see most styles on multiple people before I try them. I was worried winona would be too hot with the thicker fabric -(I loved the look of Kalle but my waist got to hot on all but the coldest days in the ponte fabric) but this winter I purchased grey. After wearing a few times I ordered forest green from the warehouse clearance. It will be too hot on warmer days, but this is the most pulled together I have felt in merino. London and Winona are the perfect work to evening pairing. I would feel comfortable wearing this on a job interview or to give a presentation to a large group. I have a long torso but it's my rise - my shoulder to waist is actualy pretty average. This falls at a good spot just below my waist. I could wear it with pants as well as dresses/ skirts. I would wear the heck out of this during spring/ fall in the thinner ro fabric (with the pockets and cropped lenght) I have in L and XL - both fit well. I am at my heavier winter weight - I suspect I would prefer the smaller size when I'm at my lower weight.
