After two years of challenges and dress acquisition, I now own a lot of wool&! I didn’t try Audrey in the first release because the colors were too muted for me, so I was thrilled to snag a heathered black Audrey when they were all sold out. I love this dress! Based on others’ advice, I sized down to a small (like I do for Sierra, Brooklyn, Willow, and Maggie), and it is a perfect fit. I’m 5’5” and it is a true maxi dress, hitting just above my ankles. The scoop neck is just right—not too high, not too low. It flows nicely but doesn’t cling to my backside at all.
I can layer tees, sweaters, and sweatshirts (hello, Aspen!) over Audrey with ease. The color goes with everything. I think I’ll do my 2023 30-day challenge in Audrey in April. She’s a keeper!
I bought this to wear as a jumper with a shirt under, as a dress with a sweater over, and as a sleeveless dress as well. I love it. The fabric feels great. I whacked 5 inches off so it didn’t trip me and i sewed the side slits up. Side slits are not for me.
I actually think this is the most versatile of all the dresses particularly in the black Heather.
So comfortable and well made. Side slits are perfect. Just enough room to glide over non-flat tummy while not disguising the curves you’d like to show off.
It fits beautifully and I'm looking forward to wearing it in the summer, but right now it's zero degrees outside with lots of snow.
Love Audrey in the darker color. It hides a multitude of sins. Including hairy legs...lol. I have had sciatica and was unable to reach down to shave my legs so this is a perfect cover. It is breezy during the hot summer with sandals, but can be layered with tights, socks and boots in the winter for warmth.
