Adore these tights! Was slightly skeptical but they are everything. No sagging. High waisted. Absolutely no odors. Washes well. Have already purchased a second pair. Don’t want to wear anything else. I will say review the sizing chart. I’m typically a 2x but it was a little big, as I failed to read the sizing chart, came back for the xxl and it’s perfect.
These don't get too baggy at the knees even though I like sitting cross-legged. Black wool has a tendency to not fade like cotton, so I'm happy to have a pair of leggings that won't fade to grey by the end of a season of wear. I have a pair of these in cropped as well. No problem with itchiness, either.
I’m wearing the medium blue leggings that arrived first and I love them. Sleek with good hold but not uncomfortable at all. I’ve also got a large black pair coming at some point and I’m interested to see how they’ll fit and feel compared to the mediums. Sometimes I might like a wee bit less snug.
I have other wool leggings that I like as well— they’re thicker and maybe more outdoorsy but these are the definite live in leggings!
I’d love to see a thicker or similar material in a structured work type pants and maybe a loosely structured jacket — kind of like the “core” line that the company Habitat does. I’d rather buy wool& and I need a few different wardrobe pieces that will
easily work in professional situations.
Super soft, warm, and comfortable. I love that the waistband does not dig in. I can wear them as leggings or tights or as an extra warm layer. The grey is a bit lighter than pictured. Would definitely recommend!
I love these leggings. I have two pairs and am going to order a third. They are so comfortable. I can wear them many times without needing to wash. But when I do wash them they hang to dry very quickly. The waist band is great. And I love the large secret pocket.
Love these Axis leggings. I bought them to wear under my wonderful Sierra Wool& dress (med reg length BTW…also fits perfectly) when it gets chilly (still hasn’t yet, I live in the south). But I tried them on to make sure they fit and they are perfect. I wouldn’t think of these as workout leggings, but I’m sure I’ll reach for them all winter with dresses and sweaters.
Warm, soft and cozy... but fraying
These are by far the comfiest leggings I have ever owned. I was a little concerned about spending so much on one pair of leggings, but I figured they'd last and I'd heard good things about marino wool, so I took a chance. They are so nice. Thin but so warm! Unfortunately, mine started fraying at the seam after just one wear. Maybe they didn't like my boots?
Hi Nicole, thanks for your review. We're so glad you love these leggings! We definitely wouldn't expect fraying after only one wear. Please reach out to our HelpDesk with some photos so we can see what we can do for you. firstname.lastname@example.org
These are my new favorite leggings! Stretchy, cozy, just the right weight. They lie smoothly under my Wool& dresses, and even have a stealthy waistband pocket (which is a little tricky to use when you’re wearing them under a dress, but if you’re wearing them on their own it’s great for keys or a phone. I have a couple of pairs of wool leggings from a different company that I thought were the best, but I’m a convert! I’ll definitely be ordering more Axis leggings. FYI, I am pear shaped, usually wear a large in Wool& dresses, but the XL leggings fit great.
I’ve already started wearing these under dresses on chilly days and nights. I love the high waist and the warmth boost! These leggings will help extend pieces of my wardrobe into more seasons which makes them a great value!
I love the big waist band. I move between L or XL in pants and after wearing these for a few weeks I may get a L for the next pair as these seem a little big for my normal, which is good. The fit was good and the weight of them is nice. I haven't overheated in them yet.
