This was the second dress and 4th item I have purchased and I have been very pleased with the quality of all the clothing. I did order the wrong size and returned for an exchange this time. I ordered a large and returned for a medium.
I really liked the look of this dress, but the color (Canyon Red) was much paler than it appeared on the website. It didn’t work with my skin color and made me look washed out. The fit was a little snug around the middle (I’m an apple.) Will be ordering a different color in 1X, as I’m eager to have this dress!
I definitely recommend sizing down with this. I could've easily fit into a Large but was too anxious to start my challenge. Super comfy and has held up for over a month now on my 100 day challenge.
I live in the PNW and take my time off at our property in desert like conditions in Central Washington. Sierra is the perfect for high heat, low humidity conditions. When it gets cooler in the evening, I will layer it with a pair of cropped tights or a sweatshirt. But Sierra can also be dressed up as well. It looks so good under a cardigan or with a button down shirt worn underneath. This is my #1 Go To for summer dressing.
This dress has exceeded my expectations. I bought the long in Canyon Red. I live in Central Texas and it is HOT right now - in the 90's in May. It is definitely thicker than say the Cora Shift dress that I bought and I find I wear the Cora when I'm going to be outside much. But, oh goodness, I love this Sierra Tank dress. It is so well constructed; it just feels so well made, not flimsy or stiff either. I love wearing it with a denim jacket and white leather tennis shoes but also with flats and sandals. Especially with the color I chose, I can see easily wearing it all year long. I had a problem with the first dress I bought (the Willow Swing dress in long) because the pockets hit right at the hip and made my body look like a pear. Not so with the Sierra Tank dress! (or the Cora for that matter). If you aren't sure, just order it and try it. Returns are super easy and free. I feel more willing to order from Wool& for that reason. I'm on my way to a core wardrobe of 3 or 4 Wool& dresses to go with the few other things I have and I couldn't be more pleased.
