our Sierra Tank Dress comes with a few advantages.

I have a Sierra tank dress in a Large that I've been using as my challenge dress and I love wearing it. Since I started, I lost 20 lbs and it still fits, bit loosely. I was hoping to pick up in medium but only small was available, so I took a chance. To my surprise, I really like the fit! It fits more like a slightly flared shift dress than a swing dress but I really find it comfortable. A medium would probably fit comfortably and keep the swing style with a bigger sweep, but I definitely enjoy how this feels like a totally different dress by sizing down. Very flattering and versatile.
I sized up to allow me to wear Sierra as a jumper as the weather cools. The dress is made of a wonderful fabric, and washes beautifully. I hang it up between wearings, and all wrinkles are gone by morning.
Love the true black color and so far no fading.
I wanted to get the right dress for me before joining the challenge, and I am glad I took the time to get it right. I ordered 3x before getting it right: long Sierra was way too much dress on me, and blue color was just blah. Thank you Wool& for excellent, fast shipping and returns.
Next dress I order will be XS!
I loved the idea of the 100-day challenge and was impressed by all the buzz, but this was one of the weirdest, ugliest dresses I’ve ever ordered. Merino wool is wonderful. Unfortunately, this dress isn’t 100% wool. The fabric felt stiff and almost spongy—and it fit like a sack. This is probably the worst review I’ve ever left for anything, but I felt misled, as though I couldn’t possibly have received the same dress so many people are raving about. I couldn’t wait to take it off and send it back.
I bought a sierra in October or November 2020, intending to use it for the 100 day challenge… it was my usual size, large, and it was just a bit too tight in the chest and under the arms. I believe I wrote a less than glowing review saying so. However, I now own… four Sierras, and these newer ones are sized perfectly. I am so happy with the weight of the wool in this dress, and the weave. Everything about it is just right. Sold on Sierra. :-)
I am a thrifter, so I am used to finding clothes on the cheap and not really investing in quality clothing. This dress has completely revolutionized the way I consider clothing!! Yes, it's a bit expensive, but this fabric is SO high quality and will LAST! It's also so comfortable and cool. It does not hold odors like other fabrics... it's truly amazing!! The cut of my Sierra is flattering and it's so versatile!! 10/10!!!
I got this dress because the Maggie Swing dress I ordered was delayed and I was offered a coupon because of the delay. I’d been eyeing the Sierra, but the coupon was the nudge to bite the bullet and buy it. And let me tell you — I love it so, so much. I wore it 5 out of the first 8 days I had it (I wear scrubs to work, so can’t really wear it every day) and wanted to wear it pretty much always, after that. It is a nice weight, it is good for hanging around the house, going out with friends, heading to dinner, or wearing to church. It is my favorite article of clothing. I will certainly buy another one in a different color (I have the washed navy). The fabric weight is perfect, and it fits me really well.
I tried Willow first, but didn't like the fit or fabric on me. Tried Sierra with trepidation, and am so glad I gave it a chance. I don't feel like I have an abnormally long torso, but the pockets could be just an inch lower. That being said, they're not distracting from the lines of the dress. I like this pocket style - putting a phone in my pocket doesn't pull the dress out of line. I would like an extra inch or two in total length - I would have gotten a long if it were offered in plus size. As the length is, I only feel totally safe with leggings underneath. But the fabric is perfect- no clinging or static and snuggly soft. I am comfortable saying this dress will be a staple long after the challenge ends.
Lovely soft fabric - freeing and fashionable. POCKETS, thank the Goddess. Well made and substantial. Looks as if it will hold up well. I've worn it seven times -- happily every time.
I worried about purchasing this because it's pricey, and the weather is hot and humid six months out of the year where I live (wool?) However, I've worn the dress (black) on four days in the two weeks since it arrived, and I'm very pleased. The length (regular) hits at the bottom of my knees, and the fabric has enough heft that it doesn't stick to underwear or my skin. It's flattering to my hourglass figure, and the armholes are cut high enough to cover a bra. It earns major kudos for having side-seam pockets that are stitched flat to the dress, so there's no look of added bulk to my thighs (a place that needs no added bulk!) I machine-washed in cold water and hung dry, and it was good to go. I'm considering getting one in another color. This one will be a 3-season staple in my wardrobe.
I now have 2 Sierras, and I can't remember what I did without them. (I also have 2 other styles) The ticker material is so forgiving, and it's so easy to dress it up for work. Love this brand!
