I wish I had gotten the long...

I had my doubts because I've been on the cheap clothes train for my whole life. But when it arrived, I felt like it will for sure last me for the next 100 days (and beyond). 1 week in, and here's my observations... First: I REALLY wish I had picked the longer version of this dress. I like short dresses, but on my 5'9" frame, this one is more like a mini dress and feels too casual even when I try to dress it up. Second: I'm not sure if it's my 9-Months-Pandemic weight gain talking or not, but I had hoped this dress would be a little more flattering than it is (especially considering the 100-day challenge). The triangle shape tends to just look a little bit tenty on me. It tends to bunch up in my crotch when I'm wearing leggings- not my favorite. I still feel like I'm trying to figure out how to accessorize it in a way I'm stoked about (though I am enthusiastic that I can).

Love My Sierra--SO Versatile!

I ordered the Sierra tank dress in Washed Navy (Regular length) on Dec 31st and received the dress on January 7th. I started the 100 Day Challenge that day. This dress is so versatile! It's like accessorizing a favorite pair of jeans. I wanted the tank style because I could layer under or over. I am 2 weeks into wearing the dress every day. I've washed it once. I still love it! Thank you Wool& for making a product that is kind to both the wearer and the earth! Kudos!!!

Nice fabric and pockets

The fabric is nice and smooth and squishy, seems very durable. Pockets are perfect size and are solid enough to put a phone in. The neckline and armpits are perfect for me (not too tight or revealing). Length is perfect for me - top of knees.

The waist is a bit loose/undefined for my taste, would prefer a straighter torso shape and then flaring at the hips, I think this shape looks less flattering on me. This looseness also means that the dress poofs forward when I'm quickly rinsing a dish or working in the kitchen and touches the countertop when I don't want it too (I wear an apron for extended kitchen work but can't put one on for every kitchen action). So far I've solved this by layering a more fitted sweater or shirt over the dress for colder weather. (Written on Day 9 of hopefully 100 day challenge!)

Such a versatile dress - great staple piece!

I bought this dress because, working from home for the past 9 months really got me out of my normal routine and I was honestly lounging around in my pjs most of the time. Nooooot that there's anything wrong with that, but it was negatively contributing to my motivation. SO, I thought this dress was a great opportunity to introduce something comfy into my wardrobe that could be dressed up or down and become reacquainted with my closet. I've been participating in the #100daydresschallenge and I'm on day 12 of wearing this dress. I gotta say, I didn't expect something as little as getting dressed and accessorizing every day to walk into my home office would boost my mood so much, but it has!

This dress is a bit boxy, but you can easily achieve the shape you want with a belt. I even use a belt to shorten my dress sometimes by belting it around my natural waist and then tufting out the fabric just above the belt to bring the hemline up. The arm holes seem a little short, not tight necessarily, but I have more deodorant transfer in this dress due to the way the arm holes fit. Nothing a little pre-wash scrub can't handle though and it hasn't caused me any chaffing and I have *sensitive* skin.

Overall, it's a great staple piece and I love the versatility this piece provides. Did I mention the pockets?! They're a dream.

Love it!

Love my Sierra Tank. Ordered a 2X as I do NOT like clingy clothes. It is very, very comfortable and I think I could have ordered a 1X. I did order the shorter version and it hits me in the middle of my knees. It's perfect for me! Looking forward to more sizes and dresses being available in the Spring! I will for sure order more! I am slowly moving my closet to minimalist/pod wardrobe and these will fit my color choices perfectly!
Keep up the good work Wool&!!!

Me and my Sierra

Really surprised at how soft it is. Very comfortable. Would like a couple inches shorter since I did not get the longer version. Cleans and drys very nicely. Probably could have gone with Large.
Very versatile.

Love Sierra!

Substantial, soft fabric. Laundered beautifully on permanent press setting and Woolite detergent. Dries quickly. Ordered a large. A medium might have worked, but plenty of room to layer tops underneath. Haven't tried drying it on low, that might make it a perfect fit.

Love my little black dress

The structure and drape of the Sierra are just right for me - never snug at my hips or backside as a sheath style might do and not a shapeless sack or oversized tent, just a nice bit of swing away from my waist with a flow that respects and even celebrates my curvy feminine shape. I purchased the standard length in medium, black. I am 5'3" and followed the size guide and it is true to size for all of my measurements. 17 days in and I find that wearing this dress in winter with leggings and layers, I am enjoying a playful freedom of movement that I once enjoyed as a child but at the same time, this little black dress gives me a mature adult vibe too, no matter how I dress it. I am a geologist and live a pretty minimal life now, having shifted recently to a full-time campervan experience to explore this continent with my husband more on our terms, pace, following our interests. What I appreciate now is realizing that shorts and pants are not required - nothing wrong with those. I have them. They are fine and functional, but not super comfortable to me and they kind of say, " Yep, she's just one of the guys." I love that I wear this with layers under or over it or not. It simply says, "Yes I am an active, comfortable and confident woman here. Let's go!" The freedom of movement, freedom from fuss in a feminine flowing form align well with my life, values and identity.

Great Dress!

I wear my Sierra as a jumper during the winter. Great for layering... sooo comfortable. Fit is perfect, and it does not wrinkle. Very versatile.

Nice basic piece

I am 21 days into the 100 day challenge. The dress is a nice weight and the fabric feels great. I am very allergic to wool usually but I cannot say I’ve noticed any reactions while wearing it. Since it is winter, I have won it while layering but often the dress is in direct contact with my skin, including sensitive areas like my stomach, neckline and arms, and I have done well. (Meanwhile, I have continued to have reactions when I would test against other wool) so whatever they do to reduce reactions is effective. I have washed the dress twice (following directions) and was pleased with how easy it is to care for. It pairs well with cardigans, blazers, long sleeved t shirts or turtlenecks, both over and under, and stands up on its own. I look forward to wearing it in warmer months. It works well for work from home days and looks great in an office setting. I would have liked it to be a bit longer, and now see they have it in two lengths. I would like a lower neckline, too. My size chart measurement put me between a large and extra large and after reading the reviews I went with the large which fits perfectly.
