What a gorgeous, comfortable, classy tee-shirt! I’m going to go against the grain and say size up, for the flowy fit you see on the models. I ordered an XL, my usual size, first, and while it fit nicely through the torso, the shoulder seams were not where they belonged. I traded it in for a 1x, the shoulder seams are in the right place, and the fit is loose and gorgeous, like a feminine oversized tee. I like it tucked in or tied to the side, or there is enough fabric that you can wrap it through the neckline for a v-neck crop top. It looks fine loose, too, and is almost long enough to pass as a short tunic on my 5’10” frame. Great buy!
This linen blend t-shirt is fantastic in triple digit weather. I’m on day 13 of the shirt challenge and have yet to wash it. It airs out over night and smells fresh each morning.
Design-wise, the length is perfect. I wish the sleeves were a little longer or there was gathering in the center of the neckline - a little something to make it dressier for the office.
My only complaint is this knit/blend seems to hold dog hair, whereas dog hairs fall off all of dresses easily.
Lovely drape and beautiful blue with white heathering. It’s so soft, as if I were wearing my favorite jeans. I fell asleep wearing it last night and despite I frequently wake up quite hot, I slept through the night in my linen blend Stella! I normally wear an XL in almost all of the styles, but after wearing this for a few days, I think I should have purchased the Large. Will be buying additional colors.
I've been trying to avoid nylon and stick to natural fibers in my clothing choices, so I was beyond thrilled to see a blend of my two favorite fabrics! I'm generally between an L/XL and chose to size down on this since I thought the fabric would have more drape. I'm glad I did--the L fits perfectly and the neckline on the XL would have been way too big. I held it up to my 100% wool long sleeve Sloan in XL and they were actually a really similar size if that helps anyone. The washed navy is lightweight but not see-through; I could see that being an issue with the lighter colors though, so I'm humbly requesting more "winter" colors and jewel tones!
I have some of the wool/nylon Stellas, and they are great. I purchased Washed Navy and Apricot in this linen blend, and they are the same cut as the original. They fit just a tiny bit looser than the original, but nothing at all close to making me change size. I'm wondering if the blend just performs differently in action. This linen blend is matte, without the subtle sheen of the original blend, and I prefer that look. I really hope that more colors come out in this one, and more designs in this fabric. It's a winner. (40-34-41, sized down to M and it fits very well, still flowy.)
