I love this dress!! It is definitely going to be a fav this fall into winter! Wearing it with sweaters or T’s. And leggings. Generous cut so pay attention to sizing.
I LOVE this dress so much that I already purchased two more in other colors. I only wore the Sierra Dresses to work last week and then to a concert over the weekend. I had ordered the long in another style and found that it was a bit frumpy for me. I prefer the regular length as it hits just above my knees.
Prior to my Sierra, I hadn't worn a dress in 8+ years.
I don't plan on wearing anything but Wool& dresses ever again. Why would I walk around pulling up jeans that won't stay put and shirts that threaten wardrobe malfunctions?
Within 10 days of owning (and wearing daily) Sierra I have packed away all of my clothes that don't match her and now have 22 items in my closet + Sierra. The only downside is that I've had to order tights because I don't shave my legs and sometimes I go into the office, but I found a pair of Merino tights though from snag for not too much.
I sized down from my regular size based on my measurements, and honestly might size down an additional size if I order another Sierra in the future. She fits, but I've considered having a seamstress add some small darts in the armpit so that she doesn't show a bra if I diegn to wear one (but why would I? Sierra is so thick it's not like it's a modesty issue!).
This dress is so versatile! I wear it alone or with jewelry in the summer but layer it with blouses or sweaters in cooler weather. On very cold days I’ve worn it layered with another dress like Rowena or Willow under and a Landmark cardigan over it.
I'm really happy with this dress. Sierra shows off my athletic arms and shoulders and forgives my little belly and generous hips. It works well with the Stella Linen Tees too.
Sierra, Willow in black, a couple of Stella Linen Tees, and Axis crop leggings are the basis for my minimalist packing list for a 3 week vacation.
