I own a lot of Wool& products - loads of dresses, leggings, and bras/underwear. This is my first “jacket” type purchase. I was immediately drawn to the color (Marionberry) and the softness of the fabric. I love that it is not bulky, but provides a nice layer in chilly AC or a crisp fall day. I actually purchased the zippered hoodie for a trip to Scotland where I was looking for a layer I could easily slip into a bag and pull out as needed for under a rain jacket. I know I will get years of wear from this hoodie beyond my trip. Another home run, Wool&! I’d love another color when they become available again.
I LOVE this hoodie so far. I've been. Wearing it every day and everywhere, from hikes, to around town. Its so soft and cozy and fits perfect. I only wish it were a tiny bit heavier weight because the wind cuts through it but otherwise I love it and I think I'll be happy with the light weight during summer. The fabric is holding up very well to daily use!
I first bought this in marionberry, and wear it almost daily at night. I love it so much I bought a black one. I use it for traveling (rolls up small) and wear at night before bed or during the day as n extra layer over a wool& dress or tee.
I ordered this to be a little roomier and the sweater did not disappoint me. It fits nicely and looks good.
It is too soon to tell how it will wear as it is new.
I was thrilled with the look of the Aspen hoodie. I bought in basic black and found the XXL to be a good fit for a short, plus size lady. I thought the look was very classic and I found it an excellent layering piece for travel. I wore it alone, with a light rain shell and under a puffer coat on particularly cold evenings. However, I was quite disappointed to see notable pilling from wearing the hoodie with a crossbody bag. I specifically bought the hoodie for a 9-day international trip and wore it nearly every day. However, in that short time frame, I saw the pilling—actually I noticed it in just 1 week. Since many of us are looking at these products for travel and often use crossbody purses for security, I was bummed to see this wear pattern emerge so quickly. Obviously, I can use a fabric shaver, but I worry that this is not sustainable long term.
